A tribute from son to father.
The third release from Ozgener Family Cigars, Aramas features a Mexican San Andres wrapper atop an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and long-fillers from the U.S. (Connecticut), the Dominican, and Nicaragua. Brand owner Tim Ozgener worked with industry legend Ernesto Perez-Carrillo on the blend, and all four vitolas are rolled at Carrillo's factory Tabacalera La Alianza S.A.
Its name is a combination of the two names for Mount Ararat, a dormant volcano near the borders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iran, and Turkey. Aramas is a combination of Ararat and Masis, the latter of which is the Armenian name of the volcano. Ozgener made this cigar in homage to his father, the late Cano Ozgener who was the founder of the CAO brand.
Within each medium-bodied Aramas is a rich and dense flavor profile consisting of earth, chocolate, leather, black pepper, and espresso bean. Showcasing impeccable construction and balance, it's a must-have for any fan of San Andres-wrapper premiums.
