  • Did I Make The Stupidest Decision Ever?

    I ordered an imperfect humidor from PremiumHumidors.com an hour ago. After that, I decided to look up info about the business. Here is what I found:
    -BBB gave them an F;
    -They have many complaints on complaintsboard.com.

    The complaints generally say that the glass on the humidor came broken and the seller refused to refund it, a guy ordered an imperfect humidor and they gave him a cheaper imperfect humidor that was OBVIOUSLY not the one he ordered, and some people say they don't even ship!

    Also, the imperfect humidor I bought was labeled as being the last one in stock. However, after I ordered it, it STILL says they have one more in stock!

    If I get screwed by this company, is there anything I can do?

    Oh, and the moral of the story is to research retailers before buying anything from them.

    I would call them and cancel the order. It's worth a shot.

    Dispute the charge with your credit card company is the only thing I can think of.

    When I ordered, it was already 7 PM East Coast time and I have classes tomorrow until 3.
    If I don't get a UPS Tracking # by tomorrow, I'll contact them Wednesday.

    Yep just call your credit card comp or bank and tell them your not paying for it, then call the company back and cancel and your off the hook!

    For me it would depend on how much I paid...if it was under $50 or so, I probably would take my chances and hope for the best.

    I'd dispute the charge on your cc, and also cancel the order. If they still ship it, maybe u can refuse delivery

    I'd wait and see what shows up at your door. I ordered my humidor through them and the thing is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Seriously. I had to look all over to find the "imperfection." It ended up being a tiny little knot in the wood on the bottom of the inside that gets buried behind the sticks anyway. A tiny little knot is all I could find. It doesn't have any glass, it's solid wood, but I would give them a chance and see what arrives. I'm totally psyched with mine.

    I just wanted to update this and say the humidor is beautiful! Flawless.
    I also ordered a single 5 Vegas Classic, but it came damaged and unsmokeable. I sent them and email and they are sending me a replacement.
    Just goes to show everyone's experiences are different ^_^
