  • Re: Oliveros 1927

TheShaun:Your thoughts? I'm up in the air about this stick. Not sure how I feel. I think this may be a good golfing smoke. Sitting on my balcony in the freezing cold is not where this stick shines.I smoked the one you sent me today Shaun. For the first third I was battling the thing to get it to burn. One whole side would not burn. It was a bunch

  • Re: Oliva web page

I found the info. interesting in many area's. One in particular about the RH/TEMP. for aging sticks. It does make some logical sense since the aging process is really just more curing of the tobacco's which would logically need slightly elevated temps. and moisture (RH) for the process to continue. It made sense to me, and I assumed the Oliva folks ...

  • Re: Mystery Cigar 'C'

bbc020:Cigar C seems to be the most complex of the cigars Laker sent. This box pressed toro measures in around 6''x 48 and has an oily reddish hued wrapper. The prelight draw had a noticeable cocoa/coffee-ish hint to it and it started off pretty strong with some pepper and sweetness. This stick suffered from some burn issues and required some ...

  • Re: No regulations needed, hmmm.

PuroFreak:Then you obviously know nothing about government regulation of banks in the U.S. in the last 20 years. Banks HAVE been forced to give loans to people that couldn't afford them in the first place by the government. The links to laws have been posted time and time again. If you choose to ignore them that is your right, but it doesn't ...

  • Re: No regulations needed, hmmm.

PuroFreak:Laker, you really contradict yourself when you say ''If you lend somebody money you have an obligation to ensure that the money was lent wisely, bank do this as part of Due Process,'' and use that as a way for government to keep businesses from pissing away money on bad investments, when it was the government telling banks the HAD to ...
